A sweet little alternative smoke
Feb-5-2007
Like most Americans (I assume), last night I was watching the Super Bowl. I don't follow the NFL season (I'm an MLB guy), but I enjoyed watching the game. If you're a Chicago fan it must have been pretty hard to stomach, but the Colts certainly deserved to win the trophy.

During the halftime show, Prince appropriately performed "Purple Rain." I know the football players are used to playing in all sorts of foul weather. But how Prince, or any other performer could have played live in that downpour last night is beyond me. I suppose that's why they ALL get the big money.

During the third quarter I slipped downstairs to my studio to have a cigar. I didn't want anything to heavy or too long, so I scrounged through my humidor and came up with an ACID Wafe. Being a "traditionalist," I rarely ever smoke ACID cigars. But this short, sweet little number was quite enjoyable. Mild, mellow, and quite flavorful with an appealing botanical and herbal aroma.

Sometimes you just have to smoke under different conditions, too.
