After smoking a Te Amo many years ago, I was very reluctant to try any other Mexican smoke. In short, the Te Amo was one of the worse cigars I ever had to consume. However, I won another auction and picked up a bundle of 25 Tabamex Toro for just $17.00. Needless to say, my expectation of this smoke was very low.

After firing up this Tabamex, I was quickly surprised. This maduro wrapper had a pleasant mild cedar taste. It was well constructed with an even burn. It measured 6 x 50 and the draw was painless. This Tabamex Toro has given me new hope that Mexican cigars are improving. Again, these smokes only cost $0.68 and make a nice everyday smoke.

If you want to broaden your humidor to include some smokes south of the border, you may want to try Tabamex Toro.
